As\u0131l ad\u0131 Ay\u015fe Y\u0131ld\u0131z olan sanat\u00e7\u0131, \u0130ngiliz k\u00f6kenli Olga Cynthia (Nadide) ile Ahmet Naci Bey’in \u00e7ocu\u011fu olarak 1928’de \u0130stanbul’da d\u00fcnyaya geldi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ablas\u0131 G\u00fcner, a\u011fabeyleri Nedim ve Mahmut ile k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck karde\u015fi M\u00fc\u015ffik’ten olu\u015fan 7 ki\u015filik bir ailede b\u00fcy\u00fcyen Kenter, Ankara Devlet Konservatuvar\u0131n\u0131 bitirdi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z Kenter, verdi\u011fi bir r\u00f6portajda, konservatuvara babas\u0131n\u0131n deste\u011fiyle girdi\u011fini s\u00f6yleyerek, \u015fu bilgileri vermi\u015fti:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Annem sayesinde bir\u00e7ok \u015feyi yapabilme f\u0131rsat\u0131 bulabildik, \u00e7ok iyi bir kad\u0131nd\u0131. Babam da \u00f6yleydi, \u00e7ok \u015feyi te\u015fvik etti. Hatta babam beni gizlice konservatuara g\u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fcp kayd\u0131m\u0131 yapt\u0131rd\u0131. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc ailemde, o ya\u015flarda tutucu g\u00f6r\u00fcnen bir abim vard\u0131. Sevgili abim, ‘Gitmeyeceksin oraya.’ diye tutturdu. Sonra tabii \u00e7ok destek verdi, yard\u0131mc\u0131 oldu, yolumu a\u00e7t\u0131. Hayat\u0131m\u0131n en mutlu g\u00fcnleri o konservatuarda ge\u00e7ti. D\u00fcnyan\u0131n en rafine hocalar\u0131 ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma f\u0131rsat\u0131 buldum orada.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Usta sanat\u00e7\u0131, e\u011fitiminin ard\u0131ndan Ankara Devlet Tiyatrosuna girerek, 1956-1959 aras\u0131nda g\u00f6rev yapt\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABD ve \u0130ngiltere’de oyunculuk \u00f6\u011fretiminde yeni teknikler \u00fczerine \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yapan sanat\u00e7\u0131, Devlet Tiyatrosundan ayr\u0131ld\u0131ktan sonra bir y\u0131l Muhsin Ertu\u011frul ile \u00e7al\u0131\u015ft\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z Kenter, 1959’da, karde\u015fi M\u00fc\u015ffik Kenter ve e\u015fi \u015e\u00fckran G\u00fcng\u00f6r ile Kent Oyuncular\u0131 Toplulu\u011funu kurdu. Kent Oyuncular\u0131, 2014’e kadar bir\u00e7ok oyunu sanatseverlerle bulu\u015fturdu.Tiyatroya olan sevgisi hi\u00e7 bitmeyen sanat\u00e7\u0131, yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131 bir a\u00e7\u0131klamada \u015funlar\u0131 aktarm\u0131\u015ft\u0131:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Tiyatro yazmak, \u00f6yk\u00fc yazmaya, roman yazmaya benzemiyor; zor bir meslek, ekonomik bir meslek. Sadece konu\u015farak her \u015feyi veriyorsunuz, bir de m\u00fczik ekliyorsunuz. Tiyatro \u00e7ok zor ve bunun i\u00e7in tiyatroyu \u00e7ok seviyorum.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ankara Devlet Konservatuvar\u0131, \u0130stanbul Belediye Konservatuvar\u0131 ve \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvar\u0131 Tiyatro B\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde b\u00f6l\u00fcm ba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 da yapan sanat\u00e7\u0131, \u00fc\u00e7 kez Alt\u0131n Portakal \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fcn sahibi oldu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sanat\u00e7\u0131 ayr\u0131ca, Sovyetler Birli\u011fi, ABD, \u0130ngiltere, Almanya, Hollanda, Danimarka, Kanada, Yugoslavya ve K\u0131br\u0131s’ta \u0130ngilizce ve T\u00fcrk\u00e7e oyunlar sergiledi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shakespeare, \u00c7ehov, Brecht, Inoesco, Pinter, Albee, Tenessee Williams, Alan Ayckbourn, Arthur Miller, Brian Freil, Neil Simon, Athol Fugard, Sergey Kokovkin gibi uluslararas\u0131 yazarlar\u0131n yan\u0131 s\u0131ra Melih Cevdet Anday, Necati Cumal\u0131, G\u00fcner S\u00fcmer, Adalet A\u011fao\u011flu, Zeki \u00d6zturanl\u0131, G\u00fcng\u00f6r Dilmen, Muzaffer \u0130zg\u00fc’n\u00fcn oyunlar\u0131n\u0131 da sahneye koyan Kenter, 1981\u2019de “Devlet Sanat\u00e7\u0131s\u0131” unvan\u0131 ald\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Y\u0131ld\u0131z Kenter, kariyeri boyunca ulusal ve uluslararas\u0131 bir\u00e7ok festivalde “En \u0130yi Kad\u0131n Oyuncu\u201d \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fcn\u00fc kazan\u0131rken, 1995’te K\u00fclt\u00fcr ve Turizm Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 taraf\u0131ndan tiyatro sanat\u0131na katk\u0131lar\u0131ndan \u00f6t\u00fcr\u00fc Onur \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc’ne lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc. Sanat\u00e7\u0131 ayr\u0131ca, 1998’de Cumhurba\u015fkanl\u0131\u011f\u0131 B\u00fcy\u00fck K\u00fclt\u00fcr ve Sanat \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc, 1999 ve 2000’de Afife En \u0130yi Kad\u0131n Oyuncu \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc’n\u00fc ald\u0131.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kariyeri boyunca 100’den fazla tiyatro oyunu, film ve dizide rol alan usta sanat\u00e7\u0131, ya\u015fam\u0131 boyunca sahneledi\u011fi roller ve sahneye koydu\u011fu eserlerdeki ba\u015far\u0131s\u0131yla dikkati \u00e7ekti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arkas\u0131nda y\u00fczlerce \u00f6\u011frenci ve unutulmaz oyunculuk sergiledi\u011fi eserler b\u0131rakan sanat\u00e7\u0131, 17 Kas\u0131m 2019’da 91 ya\u015f\u0131nda hayata veda etti.
