Soyk\u0131r\u0131m\u0131n ana hedefi, \u00c7erkeslerin  yok edilmesi olsa da, olaylardan baz\u0131 Abhaz, Abazin, \u00c7e\u00e7en, Oset ve di\u011fer M\u00fcsl\u00fcman Kafkas topluluklar\u0131 da etkilenmi\u015ftir. Tam olarak ka\u00e7 ki\u015finin etkilendi\u011fi bilinmese de, ara\u015ft\u0131rmac\u0131lar \u00c7erkes n\u00fcfusunun en az %75\u2019i, %90, %94, veya %95-%97\u2019sinin etkilendi\u011fini \u00f6ne s\u00fcrm\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcr.
