Bilenleriniz vard\u0131r -ba\u015flang\u0131\u00e7ta Mongolizm diye (Mo\u011follar\u2019a benzetilerek) adland\u0131r\u0131lan- 1965\u2019ten itibaren kullan\u0131lan ad\u0131yla \u201cDown Sendromu\u201d i\u00e7in fark\u0131ndal\u0131k g\u00fcn\u00fc olarak Birle\u015fmi\u015f Milletler taraf\u0131ndan 2012\u2019den bu yana d\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda kutlanan bir tarih ayn\u0131 zamanda\u2026 21. kromozomun \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc bir kopyas\u0131 demek olan down sendromu, \u00fc\u00e7\u00fcnc\u00fc ay\u0131n 21. g\u00fcn\u00fc, t\u00fcm d\u00fcnyaya bunun bir engel de\u011fil farkl\u0131l\u0131k oldu\u011funu anlatmak i\u00e7in \u00f6zellikle se\u00e7ilmi\u015f.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bu anlaml\u0131 g\u00fcn\u00fcn 15. y\u0131ld\u00f6n\u00fcm\u00fcnde toplumlar\u0131n Down sendromlu \u00e7ocuklara yakla\u015f\u0131m\u0131 g\u00f6zle g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcr bir \u015fekilde olumlu y\u00f6nde de\u011fi\u015fiyor diyebiliriz\u2026 Daha \u00e7ok sosyalle\u015fip toplumsal hayatta daha g\u00f6r\u00fcn\u00fcr roller \u00fcstleniyorlar. Fakat elbette ki yeterli ve tatmin edici bir refah seviyesinde kendilerini ifade edebildiklerini s\u00f6ylemekten h\u00e2l\u00e2 \u00e7ok uza\u011f\u0131z. Hemen her toplumda rastlad\u0131klar\u0131 en temel sorun e\u011fitim, kendilerine yetme ve meslek edinme zorluklar\u0131\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00fcnya \u00e7ap\u0131nda yakla\u015f\u0131k 6 milyon, \u00fclkemizde ise 100.000\u2019e yak\u0131n down sendromlu bulundu\u011fu tahmin edilmekte. Bu say\u0131n\u0131n \u00e7ok az\u0131 yapt\u0131klar\u0131 i\u015flerden gelir elde ederek hayatlar\u0131n\u0131 kimseye ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131 olmadan ya\u015fayabilme ayr\u0131cal\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 elde ediyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00dclkemizde genel yakla\u015f\u0131m olarak (\u00f6zellikle k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck yerle\u015fim yerlerinde, mahallelerde, kasabalarda) down sendromlu birinin halk\u0131n ilgi ve sempatisini kazand\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6zlemleyebiliriz. Bunlardan bir tanesi 2014 yap\u0131m\u0131 Amerikan filmi olan Where Hope Grows \/ Umutlar\u0131n Ye\u015ferdi\u011fi Yer\u2026 Alkol ve \u00f6zg\u00fcven sorunu ya\u015fayan eski beyzbolcu bir baba, yerel bir s\u00fcpermarkette manav b\u00f6l\u00fcm\u00fcnde \u00e7al\u0131\u015fan down sendromlu Produce ile arkada\u015f olur. Film, baban\u0131n bu arkada\u015fl\u0131kla birlikte hayata tutunu\u015funu anlat\u0131yor.
