Kral Abdullah&#8217;\u0131n 1962 y\u0131l\u0131ndan beri ba\u015f\u0131nda bulundu\u011fu ve kendi elleriyle olu\u015fturdu\u011fu Muhaf\u0131z Birlikleri, Suudi Arabistan ordusundan daha e\u011fitimli ve daha etkin olarak adland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131yor. \u00d6nceleri tamamen resmi merasimler i\u00e7in tanzim edilen Muhaf\u0131z Birlikleri, daha sonra kraliyet ailesini korumak i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lmaya ba\u015fland\u0131.
