Gala \u00f6ncesi a\u00e7\u0131klamada bulunan Y\u00f6netmen Ery\u0131lmaz, filmde \u0130stanbul’da bin y\u0131ld\u0131r s\u00fcre gelen karde\u015flik duygular\u0131n\u0131n anlat\u0131lmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. Ery\u0131lmaz, “Musevi’siyle, Ermeni’siyle, Rum’uyla, T\u00fcrk’\u00fcyle ve bu topraklarda ya\u015fanan hikayeler sanki bir masalm\u0131\u015f gibi geliyor insanlara. Bayramlar asl\u0131nda bunun bir vesilesi, gerek yabanc\u0131 seyyahlar\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fcnden gerekse T\u00fcrk seyyahlar\u0131n g\u00f6z\u00fcnden bayramlar \u00f6yle bir anlat\u0131l\u0131yorki sanki cennet gibi, biz bu bayamlardan yola \u00e7\u0131karak \u0130stanbul’un bu sosyal ve k\u00fclt\u00fcrel tarihi zenginli\u011fini bir anlamda sinemala\u015ft\u0131rd\u0131k. \u0130stanbul’un ola\u011fan\u00fcst\u00fc bir yer oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Ery\u0131lmaz, “Filmin son c\u00fcmlelerinde \u015funu diyorum; ‘\u0130stanbul yeni zamanlar\u0131n, yeni ufuklar\u0131n, yeni r\u00f6nesans\u0131n ba\u015fkenti olacakt\u0131r.’ Benim inanc\u0131m o, \u0130stanbul’a Avrupa k\u00fclt\u00fcr ba\u015fkenti olmak yetmez. \u0130stanbul bir D\u00fcnya ba\u015fkenti” ifadelerini kulland\u0131.<\/p>\n

Projenin 8 ayl\u0131k yo\u011fun bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fman\u0131n \u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fc oldu\u011funu kaydeden Ery\u0131lmaz, “Oyuncular\u0131 bayram sabahlar\u0131nda camilere ve sokaklara, cemaatin i\u00e7ine soktuk. 2 bayram\u0131 da kulland\u0131k, gerek S\u00fcleymaniye, gerek Ey\u00fcp b\u00fct\u00fcn camilerde ger\u00e7ek reel bayram namazlar\u0131nda, sabah namazlar\u0131nda \u00e7ekim yapt\u0131k. S\u00fcleymaniye’nin a\u00e7\u0131l\u0131\u015f\u0131nda da \u00e7ekimler yapt\u0131k” diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n

Filmde yer alan Adalar Belediyesi Ba\u015fkan Vekili Raffi Hermon Araks da birlikte ya\u015faman\u0131n \u00f6nemine vurgu yapt\u0131. Araks, “Prens Adalar\u0131 sanki son \u0130stanbul. Bu son \u0130stanbul’un trenini ka\u00e7\u0131r\u0131rsak sanki \u0130stanbul’u kaybederiz. \u0130stanbul’u kaybedersek T\u00fcrkiye’yi de kaybederiz ama e\u011fer bu adalardaki son birlikte ya\u015fama izlerini yeniden canlad\u0131rabilirsek \u0130stanbul’u kurtar\u0131r\u0131z” dedi.
