Bilinen iyon motorlar\u0131ndan \u00e7ok daha g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fc  olan plazma roketin fark\u0131, radyo dalgalar\u0131n\u0131 yayan vericilere benzer bir  radyo frekans jenerat\u00f6r\u00fc kullanarak par\u00e7ac\u0131k veya plazmay\u0131 \u0131s\u0131tmas\u0131ndan  kaynaklan\u0131yor. <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a> Roketin motorundaki radyo frekans jenerat\u00f6r\u00fc, elektronlar  kaynay\u0131ncaya dek argon gaz\u0131n\u0131n atomlar\u0131n\u0131 \u0131s\u0131t\u0131yor ve plazma ortaya  \u00e7\u0131k\u0131yor. \u0130ti\u015f g\u00fcc\u00fcn\u00fc art\u0131rmak i\u00e7in roketin ikinci kat\u0131nda iyonlar  G\u00fcne\u015f&#8217;in y\u00fczey s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131n 20 kat\u0131 fazlas\u0131na, yani 1 milyon santigrat  derece civar\u0131na kadar \u0131s\u0131t\u0131l\u0131yor.
