Bunun yan\u0131nda Denizli\u2019nin binlerce y\u0131ldan bu yana deprem b\u00f6lgesi oldu\u011funa dair buluntular elde ettiklerini belirten \u015eim\u015fek, \u201cDenizli b\u00f6lgesi binlerce y\u0131ldan bu yana depremlerle y\u0131k\u0131l\u0131p tekrar tekrar aya\u011fa kald\u0131r\u0131lan bir b\u00f6lge. \u00d6zellikle antik d\u00f6nemden g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze depremlerin ne zaman oldu\u011funun \u00e7o\u011funu biliyoruz. Agustus d\u00f6neminden M.S. 7 y\u00fczy\u0131la kentin terk edilinceye kadarki s\u00fcre\u00e7te ya\u015fanan depremler ve bunun arkas\u0131ndan tekrar kentin kurulu\u015funu biliyoruz. En \u00f6nemli depremleri s\u0131ralayacak olursak M.\u00d6. 27 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki deprem, M.S. 47 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki deprem, M.S. 60 y\u0131l\u0131ndaki depremki bu depremde hemen hemen kent tamamiyle y\u0131k\u0131lm\u0131\u015f ve tekrar aya\u011fa kald\u0131r\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bunun arkas\u0131ndan imparator Valens zaman\u0131nda 268-270 y\u0131llar\u0131ndaki deprem. Yeni ke\u015ffetti\u011fimiz bir deprem de \u00f6zellikle \u0130mparator Diegledyan zaman\u0131nda M.S. 300 y\u0131llar\u0131nda olmu\u015ftur. Bu depremin \u00f6nemi kutsal Agora&#8217;n\u0131n g\u00fcney duvar\u0131 12-13 s\u0131ra olarak tamam\u0131yla kuzey y\u00f6n\u00fcne do\u011fru y\u0131k\u0131lm\u0131\u015f olarak tespit ettik. Duvar alt\u0131nda ve \u00fcst\u00fcnde \u00e7\u0131kan sikke buluntular\u0131 ve di\u011fer arkeolojik metaryeller depremin tarihini do\u011frulamam\u0131z\u0131 sa\u011flad\u0131.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu depremlerin Laodikya Antik Kenti\u2019ne b\u00fcy\u00fck zarar verdi\u011fini kaydeden \u015eim\u015fek, s\u00f6zlerini \u015f\u00f6yle s\u00fcrd\u00fcrd\u00fc: \u201cBu depremlerin arkas\u0131ndan M.S. 494 y\u0131l\u0131 depreminde tamam\u0131yla kent y\u0131k\u0131l\u0131yor ve tam toparlanam\u0131yor. Bu y\u0131k\u0131mn arkas\u0131ndan itibaren Laodikyal\u0131lar Denizli\u2019ye, Kalei\u00e7i, Hisark\u00f6y ve Babada\u011f\u2019\u0131n yama\u00e7lar\u0131na ta\u015f\u0131n\u0131yorlar. Bu gidi\u015f s\u0131ras\u0131nda buradaki mimari bloklar\u0131n bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n kaplamalar\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6k\u00fcyorlar. Tekrar geri geliriz d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcncesiyle evlerin, dinsel yap\u0131lar\u0131n ve d\u00fckkanlar\u0131n kap\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 \u00f6r\u00fcyorlar. Fakat bir daha geri gelemiyorlar. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc imparator Fokas d\u00f6neminde M.S. 602-610 depreminde kent yerle bir oluyor ve bir daha yerle\u015fme olmuyor.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bu b\u00f6lgedeki depremlerin her zaman oldu\u011funun antik kaz\u0131 \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131nda da ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 ifade eden \u015eim\u015fek, s\u00f6zlerini \u015f\u00f6yle tamamlad\u0131: \u201cDolay\u0131s\u0131yla bizim burada 700 y\u0131ll\u0131k bir zaman diliminde ve hangi aral\u0131klarla oldu\u011funu tespit etmemiz b\u00f6lgenin depremselli\u011fi a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyorum. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc, \u00f6zellikle antik d\u00f6nemde olan depremler \u00e7ok \u015fiddetli olmu\u015f burada. Yap\u0131lardaki y\u0131k\u0131mlara ve bunun arkas\u0131ndan tekrar tamiratlara ve \u00f6zellikle mimari bloklar\u0131n \u00e7ok kal\u0131n ve kenetler kullan\u0131larak yap\u0131lmas\u0131ndan anl\u0131yoruz.
