Nobel \u00d6d\u00fcll\u00fc Sancar, \u0130stanbul \u00dcniversitesi T\u0131p Fak\u00fcltesi\u2019nin bitirdikten sonra iki y\u0131l sa\u011fl\u0131k oca\u011f\u0131nda doktorluk yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 s\u00f6yledi. ABD\u2019de Kimya alan\u0131nda doktora yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirterek hem t\u0131p hem de kimya alanlar\u0131nda tecr\u00fcbesi oldu\u011funu kaydeden Sancar, \u201cNobel \u00f6d\u00fcl\u00fc alacak kadar \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131m olmu\u015ftur, bu hem t\u0131pta olabilirdi hem de kimyada olabilirdi\u201d s\u00f6zlerini kulland\u0131. \u201cT\u0131p alan\u0131nda iki g\u00fcn \u00f6nce \u00f6d\u00fcllerinin verildi\u011fini belirten Sancar \u201cBen t\u0131pta alabilece\u011fimi d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcn\u00fcyordum. O bak\u0131mdan bu y\u0131l olmaz diye d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcm. Ve sabah haber geldi\u011finde benim i\u00e7in s\u00fcrpriz oldu\u201d diye konu\u015ftu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00c7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131n\u0131n neticesinin kanser hastalar\u0131 \u00fczerinde ne zaman uygulanaca\u011f\u0131yla ilgili olarak Sancar,\u201c5-10 y\u0131l al\u0131r \u00e7\u00fcnk\u00fc biz temel ara\u015ft\u0131rma yapm\u0131yoruz. Jeonal mekanizmalar\u0131n ve kanser h\u00fccrelerinde bunlar\u0131 \u00f6nleyip kanser h\u00fccrelerini daha hassas yapmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131yoruz\u201d ifadelerine yer verdi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cT\u00dcRK\u0130YE\u2019DEK\u0130 E\u011e\u0130T\u0130M BEN\u0130 AMER\u0130KA\u2019YA HAZIRLADI\u201d <\/strong><br \/>\nBa\u015far\u0131s\u0131n\u0131 cumhuriyetin e\u011fitimine bor\u00e7lu oldu\u011funu s\u00f6yleyen Sancar, \u201cSavur\u2019dayken \u00e7ok g\u00fczel bir ilkokulumuz vard\u0131 ve ben Savur\u2019dayken lise yoktu. \u00c7ok iyi, \u00e7ok fedakar \u00f6\u011fretmenlerimiz vard\u0131 ve bizi \u00e7ok iyi yeti\u015ftirdiler. Ondan sonra liseyi Mardin\u2019de okudum. Mardin\u2019de de ayn\u0131 \u015fekilde \u00e7ok iyi \u00f6\u011fretmenlerimiz vard\u0131. T\u0131bbiye\u2019ye gitti\u011fimde \u0130stanbul T\u0131p, Avrupa\u2019n\u0131n en iyi \u00fcniversitelerinden biriydi ve o bak\u0131mdan ben T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de \u00e7ok g\u00fczel bir e\u011fitim g\u00f6rd\u00fcm. Bu beni Amerika\u2019ya haz\u0131rlad\u0131\u201d dedi ve ekledi: \u201cT\u00fcrkiye\u2019de oldu\u011fum zamanlarda, 70\u2019li y\u0131llarda bilimsel ara\u015ft\u0131rma imkan\u0131 pek yoktu. O nedenle buraya geldim, o imkanlar burada var. Fakat T\u00fcrkiye beni haz\u0131rlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131, o bak\u0131mdan burada bilimsel alanda g\u00fc\u00e7l\u00fck \u00e7ekmedim\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u201cT\u00dcRK\u0130YE\u2019N\u0130N KALKINMASI ANCAK B\u0130L\u0130M VE TEKNOLOJ\u0130YLE OLACAKTIR\u201d <\/strong><br \/>\nT\u00fcrkiye\u2019deki kar\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k ve ter\u00f6r olaylar\u0131yla ilgili olarak Sancar, \u201cBen oradaki herkesi karde\u015fim olarak bildim. Orada doktorluk yapt\u0131\u011f\u0131mda herkesi kendi karde\u015fim kendi akrabam gibi g\u00f6rd\u00fcm, tedavi ettim. Ben ayr\u0131cal\u0131k bilmiyorum ve oradayken \u00f6yle bir \u015fey yoktu. Maalesef \u015fimdi o durumlara ne diyece\u011fimi bilmiyorum. \u0130n\u015fallah d\u00fczelir, \u0130n\u015fallah memleket ve oradaki insanlar\u0131m\u0131z birbiriyle u\u011fra\u015fmaktan ziyade bilim yaparlar, ba\u015fka alanlarda hem memlekete hem insanlara katk\u0131larda bulunurlar\u201d dile\u011finde bulundu.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sancar T\u00fcrk gen\u00e7lerine tavsiye olarak, \u201cGen\u00e7ler politikayla \u00e7ok fazla u\u011fra\u015fmaktan ziyade bilimsel konulara a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k vermeli ve o konularda \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmal\u0131 ve kendilerini adamal\u0131.
