Orijinal boyutunun y\u00fczde 5&#8217;ine kadar s\u0131k\u0131\u015ft\u0131r\u0131labilen s\u00fcper madde, yeniden kendi bi\u00e7imine ve b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcne d\u00f6n\u00fcyor. S\u0131k\u0131\u015ft\u0131rma i\u015fleminin bin defa tekrarlanmas\u0131na kar\u015f\u0131n s\u00fcper madde hi\u00e7 zarar g\u00f6rm\u00fcyor. Is\u0131ya kar\u015f\u0131 da son derece dayan\u0131kl\u0131 olan madde, roket ve f\u00fczelerin yol a\u00e7t\u0131\u011f\u0131 darbeyi emmesi i\u00e7in tanklar\u0131n y\u00fczeyinde ve askerler i\u00e7in z\u0131rh \u00fcretiminde kullan\u0131labilecek. Ayr\u0131ca iletken olarak kullan\u0131labilen grafen ile bir dakikada \u015farj edilen piller, katlanabilen ve rulo yap\u0131labilen k\u00e2\u011f\u0131t kadar ince cep telefonlar\u0131 \u00fcretilebilecek. Apple, Google, IBM ve Samsung gibi dev firmalar yeni cihazlar i\u00e7in \u015fimdiden kollar\u0131 s\u0131vam\u0131\u015f durumda. Avrupa Birli\u011fi\u2019nin \u00f6ncelikli ara\u015ft\u0131rma konular\u0131ndan biri olarak belirledi\u011fi grafen i\u00e7in T\u00dcB\u0130TAK, Ekim 2013\u2019te bir \u00e7a\u011fr\u0131 yay\u0131nlam\u0131\u015ft\u0131. Sabanc\u0131 \u00dcniversitesi\u2019ndeki \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar, grafen&#8217;in g\u00fcnl\u00fck ya\u015famdaki enerji uygulamalar\u0131nda rol\u00fcn\u00fc art\u0131rma amac\u0131n\u0131 ta\u015f\u0131yor.
